Some students pass PTE on self-study alone — you learn the test format, get templates, practise on your own, and pass. But many students need personal mentorship, and for those students, more solo practice will not move the score.

Who Should Take One-on-One PTE Coaching?

You likely benefit more from private sessions than from self-study if any of these are true:

• You've failed PTE 2+ times already and are stuck between 60 and 75. At that stage the fix is specific — it's not more practice, it's identifying exactly which tasks are dragging the score and why.
• You're in Australia, Canada, the UK or the Gulf and need sessions on your own time zone. 1-on-1 lets us find a window that fits your shift / uni schedule.
• You're a working professional in Nepal (nurse, teacher, banker, IT) and can't commit to a fixed weekday class. Private sessions fit into weekends or late nights.
• Your English is already strong but your score is weak. This almost always means specific technical issues are affecting your score. Generic courses teach test strategies the same way to everyone — private sessions can diagnose your specific challenges in the first 15 minutes of looking at your score report.
• You need a specific score for a specific pathway — Superior English for Australia PR (per-component thresholds — verify current bands on DHA), CLB 9 for PTE Core Canada Express Entry, PTE for Engineers Australia, or professional registration requirements. Private sessions can be targeted to the exact number you need.
• You're shy in group settings and won't speak up for clarification. Shy students lose disproportionately in group classes — not because the teaching is weak, but because they don't ask. 1-on-1 removes that.

How One-on-One PTE Coaching Actually Works Online

Private sessions are fully online — delivered over Zoom / Google Meet from Bharatpur, Chitwan. You don't travel anywhere. Every plan runs one live session a day, and sessions are never recorded. Here's the structure:

First Session — Score Report Diagnosis

You send your latest PTE score report (or mock test score) before the session. I analyse it in advance. In the live call we go line by line — which enabling skills are pulling down which communicative skills, which specific tasks are losing points, what your ceiling is at your current approach.

By the end of session 1 you know exactly what to fix, in what order, and how many hours you need.

Daily Sessions — Targeted Fixes

Each session is built around your weakest task type. If your Speaking is 68 and everything else is 75+, we spend those sessions on Read Aloud, Describe Image and Retell Lecture alone. You don't waste time relearning tasks you already pass.

Near the End — Mock Test Walkthrough & Test Day Prep

You take a full mock test 48 hours before this session. I review your responses task-by-task — where points might be deducted, how to improve in 2 days, pacing strategy for test day, booking the right slot time.

Online 1-on-1 PTE Coaching from Nepal for Students Abroad

Roughly 40% of the 1-on-1 students I take are Nepali students already living abroad. The pattern is usually the same:

• Moved to Australia on a student visa; graduated; now targeting your required score for 20 PR points. Scheduled on Australian time (AEST/AEDT).
• In Canada on a work permit; targeting PTE Core CLB 9 for Express Entry. Scheduled on EST.
• Working in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Kuwait; targeting Canada or Australia PR. Scheduled around 12-hour shift rotations.

Understanding PTE Scoring (2026)

PTE Academic is scored end-to-end by Pearson's AI scoring system. Pronunciation and oral fluency are evaluated by the AI based on intelligibility — there is no human grader. This means consistent performance across all task types remains critical for achieving your target score. Is one-on-one PTE coaching worth it over self-study?

Not for every student. Some pass on self-study and free guides. 1-on-1 is worth paying for if you've failed 2+ times, need Superior English, live abroad and need sessions on your time zone, or are a shy learner who needs direct feedback. There are three plans of 7 days, 17 days or 1 month; see current prices for your country.

How many 1-on-1 sessions do I need to target high scores?

It depends on your gap. Every plan has one live session a day, so the 7-day plan is a week of daily sessions and the 1-month plan runs for 30 days. Students with a close deadline and a small gap often take 7 days. First-timers and students below 55 usually do better on 17 days or 1 month.

Can you guarantee a 79+ score in 1-on-1?

No coach can guarantee a score because test-day performance depends on the student. These strategies can improve consistency and performance, but your score depends on English ability, task performance, and official Pearson scoring criteria. What I offer, on the 17-day and 1-month plans only, is the Coach-Until-Target guarantee: if you attend every session, submit every assigned mock, hit your agreed target on official Pearson mocks before booking and still miss it on the real exam, I coach you through one more attempt cycle at no extra tuition. The 7-day plan does not include it.

Do you do 1-on-1 coaching for PTE Core (Canada) too?

Yes. Important distinction: PTE Core is specifically designed for Canadian permanent residency, economic immigration (Express Entry, PNP), and citizenship applications. PTE Academic is accepted for Australian skilled migration (subclass 189/190/491/482/485/500), UK Student and Skilled Worker visa (as PTE Academic UKVI), New Zealand visas, and study/university admissions globally including Canada. PTE Core is the Pearson test required specifically for Canadian PR (Express Entry/PNP) — PTE Academic covers Australia PR, UK SELT, NZ, and study. Both tests use similar scoring technology, so the preparation method applies to both formats. For Canada-bound students targeting PR, sessions are framed around PTE Core CLB targets rather than Australia PR points.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Reschedule with 6+ hours notice, no charge. Last-minute cancellations count as the session (to keep the schedule sustainable for everyone).

How is your 1-on-1 different from a random online PTE tutor?

Two things. First, I scored 90/90 myself — we are not aware of another Nepal-based PTE instructor with a verified perfect score. Second, the entire method is strategy-focused — it teaches you how PTE scoring works and what specific techniques can improve your performance, not generic English improvement. Most online tutors teach English. I teach PTE.

The UKVI and PTE Core variants are listed at the same USD price; confirm the exact amount at checkout. Pearson occasionally offers discount vouchers that can reduce the price — check the official site for current promotions.
