Is 79 PTE easy to score?+
Under the post-7-August-2025 DHA framework, Superior English uses component-specific PTE Academic bands (Listening 69, Reading 70, Writing 85, Speaking 88) — the old flat "79 in each" rule no longer applies. Hitting these component bands corresponds to a strong C1 CEFR level. Most Nepali students need 5-8 weeks of focused preparation on the blocking band (often Writing 85 or Speaking 88) to push past it. Is 1 month enough for PTE?+

A PTE Academic score of 77 corresponds to roughly C1 high on CEFR — strong English proficiency. Under the post-7-August-2025 DHA framework, Superior English uses component bands (L69/R70/W85/S88) for the +20 PR points — so 77 in Speaking would fall short of Speaking 88, but 77 in Listening or Reading would already exceed those Superior thresholds. Proficient English (L58/R59/W69/S76) is worth +10 PR points (not +0). To push to a specific Superior band, target the enabling skill weak spot in your score report and run a focused 3-4 week prep block.
