Pick a task, try a few questions in your browser and see what you got right, with a short reason for each answer. No sign-in needed.
Every question is an original practice item written by the PTE Nepal team, not a real exam question.
- Multiple Choice, Single AnswerYou read a short passage and a question about it. Pick the answer the passage actually supports, not the one that just repeats its words.
- Multiple Choice, Multiple AnswersYou read a passage and a question, then tick every answer the passage supports. More than one is right, so check each option against the text.
- Reading: Fill in the BlanksA passage has gaps and there is a box of words underneath. Put a word from the box into each gap. Some words in the box are not needed.
- Reading & Writing: Fill in the BlanksA passage has gaps, and each gap has its own short list of words. Choose the word that fits the meaning and the grammar of the sentence.
- Re-order ParagraphsYou get a set of sentences in mixed order. Move them until they make a clear paragraph: find the opening sentence, then follow the links between ideas.
- CollocationsEach sentence has one gap. Pick the word that English speakers put with the words around it, like "make a mistake" rather than "do a mistake". These pairs come up again and again in the fill in the blanks tasks.
- GrammarEach sentence has one wrong word. Tap the word that is wrong, then pick the fix. These are the slips that cost marks in Reading & Writing Fill in the Blanks and in your essay: articles, verb forms, agreement and prepositions.
- PronunciationEach line packs one tricky sound pair, like v and w or s and sh. Listen to it, say it three times, slowly first and then at normal speed. Clear sounds help your Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence answers.
