Is PTE Academic accepted for Australia?+
Yes. PTE Academic is widely accepted for Australian immigration pathways including skilled migration (Subclass 189, 190, 491), student visas, and professional registrations such as AHPRA and ACS. Always confirm the current requirements with the relevant authority before applying.
What PTE score do I need for Australia?+
It depends on your pathway. From August 2025, Australia uses skill-specific English level thresholds rather than a flat single score. Competent English and Superior English have different minimums per skill component. Verify exact thresholds with the Department of Home Affairs or your migration agent.
Is 65 each enough for Australia?+
65 each is the typical Competent English threshold for many skilled migration subclasses and professional pathways. It may be sufficient for visa grant, but it does not provide the same PR points advantage as Superior English, which requires higher skill-specific scores.
When do I need 79+ each?+
You need Superior English (79+ each, or the skill-specific minimums from Aug 2025) if you want to claim the maximum English language points in the SkillSelect points test. This significantly improves your chance of receiving an invitation from the skilled migration pool.
Should I choose self-study, group class, or one-on-one?+
This depends on your current score, your target, your timeline, and your learning style. The free 10-minute assessment call with Smriti Didi helps identify the right recommendation — self-study may be enough if your gap is small, while retakers or students with tight score targets often benefit from 1-on-1 mentorship.
Is the free assessment really free?+
Yes, completely free. The 10-minute call is designed to help you understand your score gap and find the right preparation path. There is no payment and no obligation to enroll in any coaching.
Can I prepare from Nepal for Australia PTE?+
Yes. All preparation — whether self-study, group batch, or 1-on-1 coaching — is conducted online. Nepal-based students can join group batches at 7PM NPT, and private mentorship is available with flexible scheduling for any timezone including Australian time zones.
Can retakers get help?+
Yes. Students who have attempted PTE before and are stuck below their target are the most common case for 1-on-1 mentorship. Smriti Didi reviews your score report to identify the exact tasks pulling your score down, then builds a focused repair plan for your next attempt.
